Wow...January 9th was the last post. I knew it had been a while, but geesh...
Lot has happened since January 9. We put the house on the market and it promptly so
ld. The process opened up a can of stress that we weren't maybe ready for.
On top of that, we learned that all our hard work had paid off. Abby will have to
do a better job sharing effective October 27 (or thereabouts). We learned of o
ur good fortune just as a bid on our new house was being countered. The reality of an increased mortgage, 2nd child care expense, and uncertainty of the move made it an interesting week.
The close date on our old house was a week prior to the close date on our new house. So...we had the pleasure of staying with Barb & Ed for the week. It went very well and we were grateful they were so accommodating - both with us actually being there, and also using their garage as a storage shed. Not to mention the help moving stuff.
The whole family was very helpful - both sets of grandparents...both of our brothers. It was a crazy week.
So, by Easter we were somewhat settled in to the new house.
Abby had her 2nd Easter and was comparatively more interested than in her first.
At home, she enjoyed the wonderful gifts in her Easter basket...
...at Grandma's, she enjoyed her first Easter Egg Hunt.
