On Valentine's Day, we decided a wonderful gift for Abby would be a visit to the Doctor. We learned she weighs 12 lbs 7 oz and is 23 inches tall. She went from tall and skinny at our last check-up to tall and pleasantly plump. Chunking up, Abby Sue!
To reward her efforts in gaining weight, we asked the Doctor for an immunization cocktail. Abby didn't think that was a great idea - and Bob was not very pleased with the experience either. Abby's earth shattering cries landed her in Steph's arms very quickly! Poor Bob is going to be a pushover!
We also learned we need to give her more tummy-time. Oh, how she loves that! While we both believe she is a very advanced baby (e.g. can dance and say, "Grrrrr, umph, wooh!" - babyspeak for "I think we should consider buying a larger house due to the growing amount of stuff I have"), we maybe haven't given her an opportunity to show her push-up prowess.
Abby has also discovered her hand, and apparently it is a tasty treat. Below, Abby ponders the make-up of her snack, "...with just this much milk, this hand would be a taste explosion..."
